Meet Tommy Kennedy

Hi, I'm Tommy. I am a 16 year old Junior at Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy High School (AMHS) in Southwest Ranches, Florida, close to Fort Lauderdale. I am strong in the math skills and I like to read. I enjoy the arts, both as a participant and from the audience. I have appeared in West Side Story and I play the trumpet and saxophone. I am currently a musician in the AMHS Marching Band, the AMHS Symphonic Concert Band and the AMHS Jazz Band. I love sports. I grew up running cross country and playing soccer, flag football and baseball. As a Freshman, I joined and am still a member of the AMHS swim team and I recently joined the Pembroke Pines Comets Club Swim Team (USAS). I'm going into my third year of high school swimming and I am looking forward to a successful season. I am active in Boy Scouting and hope to one day become an Eagle Scout. I also volunteer hundreds of service hours annually to the community.
